Welcome to Swap Backlink. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of all services provided by Swap Backlink Limited (“Swap Backlink,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) through our websites including swapbacklink.com, app.swapbacklink.com, and all associated subdomains (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding agreements to use our services. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
2. Services Provided
Swap Backlink provides a SaaS-based platform that allows users to find, connect with, and collaborate on niche-relevant backlink partnerships. We are not a party to the actual exchange agreements between users and are not responsible for the content or outcome of any link exchanges.
We reserve the right to review, remove, reject, or modify any website listings, backlink requests, or user content that we deem inaccurate, misleading, inappropriate, or in violation of our policies — or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
User-to-User Transactions and Liability
Swap Backlink Ltd. acts solely as a platform to help users find niche-relevant backlink partners. We are not a party to, nor do we mediate, regulate, or take responsibility for any financial or link exchange transactions made between users. Any agreements, disputes, or consequences resulting from user-to-user interactions are entirely between the parties involved.
However, if we receive verified evidence of fraudulent activity or abuse involving backlink exchanges, payment scams, or intentional misinformation, we reserve the right to permanently ban the offending user and remove their listings. In such cases, any active premium subscription will be terminated without refund.
3. Account Registration and Responsibility
- You must create an account to use certain features of the Platform.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it as necessary.
- You are solely responsible for all activities under your account.
4. Credentials & Account Security
We store your login credentials securely using industry-standard encryption protocols. However, you are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree not to share your login information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach. Swap Backlink is not liable for any damages resulting from account compromise due to user negligence.
5. Payments and Billing
- Payments are processed securely via Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in our Refund Policy.
- Prices for premium services are subject to change with notice.
Subscription & Auto-Renewal Terms
If you purchase a subscription, it will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled in advance. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
Payment Methods and Card Usage
You must use a payment method that belongs to you. If a user submits payment using a card they do not own, and the transaction is accepted by Stripe, Swap Backlink will not be held responsible for any liability, claims, or disputes from the real cardholder.
Stripe may securely store your payment details for recurring billing. Swap Backlink only stores the last four digits and expiration date of your card.
Account Deletion and Subscription Responsibility
Before deleting your account, you must cancel any active subscriptions. If you delete your account without canceling, Stripe may continue billing. Contact [email protected] to resolve such issues. Charges made before cancellation confirmation are not refundable.
Promotional Offers and Free Trials
Swap Backlink reserves the right to modify or revoke promotional offers or free trials at our sole discretion, especially in cases of abuse or repeated use.
EU VAT Compliance
If you are located in the EU, VAT may be added to your invoice as per local laws. You are responsible for any additional local taxes or duties.
6. Listing Prices
Subscription fees grant access to Swap Backlink’s features but do not include listing prices. Each listing’s price is proposed by its creator and reflects the cost of backlink placement on their site.
7. Inbox & Messaging Conduct
Users must communicate respectfully via the platform’s messaging system. Use of profanity, abusive language, or harassment may lead to suspension or a permanent ban. Swap Backlink may monitor chats for safety or suspicious activity.
Any transactions conducted through messages are outside our responsibility. Users should not share harmful, irrelevant, or spammy content, links, or attachments.
8. User Conduct and Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Engage in spamming, black-hat SEO, or deceptive link schemes
- Use bots or automation tools
- Impersonate others
- Share illegal, abusive, or infringing content
- Attempt unauthorized access
You must:
- Provide accurate information on DA, PA, and traffic metrics (verified via tools like Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs)
- Not mislead or falsify data
Violations may result in immediate suspension or ban without refund.
9. Content Accuracy & Restrictions
All user content must be authentic and comply with listing guidelines. Inappropriate listings such as:
- Adult content
- Drug-related content
- Child abuse
- Violent, hateful, or fraudulent material
..will be rejected.
We reserve the right to edit incorrect listings and publish updated versions. Users may request edits or contact support.
10. Content Ownership and Rights
All user-submitted content remains your property, but you grant us a royalty-free license to use it within the platform.
All design, trademarks, and intellectual property on our domains belong to Swap Backlink Ltd.
11. Affiliate Links and Promotions
Some links on the platform may be affiliate links. If you click and purchase, we may earn a commission. These links do not influence listing display or rankings.
12. Block and Banned Users
You may block users who violate conduct policies. For serious issues, report them to support.
We reserve the right to ban users for violations, abuse, or fraud — permanently and without refund. Appeals can be made, but our decisions are final for platform safety.
13. Account Deletion
Deleting your account will remove listings, profile info, and associated data. We may retain anonymized reviews, comments, and messages for recordkeeping.
14. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the Platform, you consent to our data practices.
15. Third-Party Services
Swap Backlink may contain links to third-party websites and services. We do not endorse or assume any responsibility for these services. Your dealings with third parties are solely between you and them.
16. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform and its services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness of any backlinks obtained through the Platform.
No Guarantee of SEO Results
While our platform facilitates backlink partnerships, we do not guarantee any improvement in SEO rankings, traffic, or other performance metrics. Outcomes depend on various external factors beyond our control.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Swap Backlink Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues arising out of your use of or inability to use the Platform.
18. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Swap Backlink Ltd., its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the Platform or your violation of these Terms.
19. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform at our discretion, without prior notice or liability, if you violate these Terms or for any other reason.
Responsibility After Account Deletion
Deleting your account does not release you from any obligations, liabilities, or violations incurred prior to deletion. Swap Backlink Ltd. reserves the right to retain relevant records and take necessary action against accounts that were deleted while under investigation or in violation of our policies.
20. Force Majeure
Swap Backlink Ltd. shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, power outages, cyberattacks, labor disputes, or internet disruptions.
21. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any legal proceedings shall be brought in the courts of England and Wales.
22. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of changes by updating the “Effective Date” above or through email notices. Continued use of the Platform after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
23. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Swap Backlink Ltd. and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, whether electronic, oral, or written.
